Description
The ZKL 3000 is a SIL-4 rated, self-monitoring Track Circuit Operating Device (TCOD). The ZKL 3000 protects a section of track efficiently by creating and monitoring a short circuit in the track. By simulating a train in the section, it causes the track circuit to show ‘occupied’ thus placing the protecting signals at danger. The section is immediately blocked, enabling rail workers to perform work on the track safely.
Rental period is 1 weekend: pick-up on Friday and return the following Monday. This price includes the use of MTinfo 3000 + the parts and accessories mentioned below:

De Zelfsignalerende Kortsluit Lans 3000 (ZKL 3000) is een systeem dat de spoorstaven in een geïsoleerde spoorsectie kortsluit en deze kortsluiting controleert. Hierdoor wordt in de spoorsectie een ‘bezet spoor’ melding gegeven, waardoor de seinen op rood springen. De spoorsectie is direct afgesloten voor het reguliere treinverkeer en een veilige werkplek voor baanwerkers is gecreëerd.
